Emmalee was born loving music. She moved from North Carolina to Tennessee when she was a child and quickly began writing and perfoming in Nashville and has never looked back! She started singing when she was five, began playing the piano at eight and picked up the guitar to write songs at eleven. She released her first EP at the young age of fifteen.
Emmalee's debut single, Fearless, captures the heart of her love for pop music while simultaneously conveying a message of hope, empowerment and faith. Find Your Fire showcases her edgier side and Cover reveals the vulnerability she posseses in her songwriting. Emmalee's songwriting and vocal artistry continually demonstrates her versatility.
"God has used music in my life to comfort me, bring me closer to Him, and to shape me into who I am. I see the universal power that music has to connect us through a wide array of emotions. I may not understand the language you speak or have experienced the way that you grew up firsthand, but when we sing about real life together, the struggles and the joys, there is a connection like no other," says the young artist. "Whether I'm writing Contemporary Christian or Pop Music, I want the overlying message of my songs to be that of hope, love, and encouragement."
Emmalee’s artistry aspires to connect people from diverse backgrounds. Hopefully those relationships will celebrate new beginnings with each other and with God, one song, one story, one life at a time.
